About HarvestUtah
Welcome to HarvestUtah, the Utah Chapter of Harvest Eco-Salvage. We are dedicated to advancing sustainability and innovation in the construction industry. We share a unified mission with our sister chapters across the country to keep usable and recyclable building materials out of our landfills through professional deconstruction and salvage operations.
As Utah continues to grow and redevelop, HarvestUtah helps property owners, builders, and developers transform traditional demolition into environmentally responsible deconstruction. Our team carefully reclaims valuable materials—doors, beams, fixtures, flooring, cabinetry, and more—from remodels and teardowns across the state. Every salvaged piece represents a resource preserved, a landfill spared, and a contribution to Utah’s circular economy.
By replacing wasteful demolition with mindful salvage we reduce environmental impact while supporting affordable housing and community projects through material donations to local nonprofits and reuse centers. Property owners also benefit by receiving IRS qualified real estate appraisals to value their donations, creating measurable tax advantages alongside meaningful environmental outcomes.
HarvestUtah promotes education and awareness about sustainable building practices. Through partnerships, outreach, and community engagement we aim to make deconstruction both practical and profitable for Utah’s builders, homeowners, and developers alike.
We invite you to join us in building a more sustainable Utah one project, one structure, and one reclaimed material at a time.
